The PDF Universal Accessibility working group received an ISO "Approved Work Item" number from the International Standards Organization & is now ISO/AWI 14289.

The PDF Universal Accessibility working group has received an ISO “Approved Work Item” number from the International Standards Organization (ISO).  PDF/UA is now ISO/AWI 14289.

As PDF/UA continues to move through the standards process; the eventual standard will be labeled ISO 14289.
